Check out Griffin Eats OC write up about Orange County Restaurant week.  Should be pretty fun, I’ve yet to actually visit any of the restaurants on the list during restaurant week, maybe this year will be my first!

You should really give this an opportunity to try a couple that I’ve tried. Consider me braving the waters. The first I would recommend is Catal. It’s in Downtown Disney, but upstairs. Eat inside. The food is really wonderful, presentations are fantastic and Great desserts too! It was the first time I ever ate black rice.
The second is Antonello’s. Bring your parent or an older neighbor just to fit in, but hey, start a trend, don’t. I’ve been there 3-4 times recently and the food is consistently good and the service is impeccable! I always ask for the homemade Tagliatelle even if it’s not on the menu. Can’t beat homemade pasta.
That’s enough to get you started. I think I’d like to try Salt Creek Grill, Geisha House, and I’d love some of your recommendations :D

@Shari, We’ve gone to Salt Creek Grill, a couple years ago, was really good. We just don’t tend to be very big on the “frou-frou” places, I have to drag my wife to go to those type of places most the time. I think we will try to at least check out one of these though. We went to Five Crowns for Valentines day, that was really good. A lot of it has to do with my wife, she’s a supertaster so she tends to be picky with flavors!
