CT - New Haven: Frank Pepe Pizzeria Napoletana

Over the weekend Serious Eats had the second part of their Where to Eat Pizza in California article, which was supposed to cover Southern California, unfortunately it only covered Los Angeles except for a single Orange County pizzeria by the name of Il Dolce Pizzeria at 1902 Harbor Blvd. in Costa Mesa.  I’ve yet to visit Il Dolce, but I’m wondering if anyone that reads this can share with us what makes them so good?

Also I’d love to hear suggestions for Pizza places to check out.  I love pizza, it’s really one of my favorite foods.

Here is a review from my friend Edwin over at OC Weekly on Il Dolce.  And Jeff Overly over at the OC Register as well!

Il Dolce serves Naples style pizza.
