This is the place to eat if you want true Americana. What is more American than a chicken pot pie? NOTHING! This place serves up quick tasty food at a cheap price. There is nothing they do amazing her, but everything they do is good, thus the 5 star rating. The wait staff is always nice and fast. It’s just an overall great place to go to and a great place to take a friend that’s new in town.

    This place and its menu will transport you back to 1958 – And not in a self-consciously retro way. This is the real deal. The various chicken-related “art” on the walls, (made by one of their waitresses), is also a nice touch, as is the giant neon chicken sign outside. Dining at the La Palma Chicken Pie Shop is an experience not to be missed.

    Is the bakery still as good as it used to be? I remember they had the best cakes with fresh fruit filling and whipped cream frosting– YUM!!!
